Ok, I'm at 88k miles and wondering if I should replace my spark plug wires... I've asked about this before but could never get a straight answer, and it's not listed in any of the maintenance intervals on ahm-ownerlink.com. Does anyone actually know or have an intelligent answer? Also, how much can I expect to pay at the Honda or Acura dealer? Thanks!

Just got my teg, and I'm replacing them just for the hell of it....car has 104k miles, and wires look original.

BTW, I just recieved my NGK wires from NOPI....at 35 bucks, I thought it was pretty good deal. If dealer tries to pull a fast one on you (they always do

), might wanna check them out.

well the original factory will last for quite a while, i didnt replace mine untill like 130,000, and they worked pretty good even then. but if you have the money go ahead and replace them, i personally bought some accel 8 mm the kind where you have to cut the wire and put on the connectors yourself, which it was pretty easy. and the kit i bought will due 8 plug wires so you wont have to buy anymore for a while, i think it cost like 50 some odd bucks....

Anyone know what the specs are for acceptable wire resistance? That's the first thing that came to mind, but I don't know what numbers I should be getting.

I have a 94 gsr and I checked my wires and they're stock. The car has 152,000 miles on it and it runs fine...but I know that I should replace the wires. I was thinking of hks vitek or nology. PPL say wires are all the same...and some ppl say that you get what you pay for...so does anyone know which wires would be the best to get? Also would you replace the dis cap with it...seeing that it only costs $20 for a new bosch one?
