B18C engine mods for turbo

I'm new to the forum.

I am starting a AWD Classic mini build with a B18C engine and the plan is to add a turbo.

My goal is 300-400BHP. Does anyone know if the bottom end can take it and would I need stronger rods and forged pistons.

Also do I need to drop the CR for the turbo?

I know I have lots of other things to consider (cams, exhaust, ECU etc. ) but this is just a strengthening question really.

Sounds like a fun project!

These types of questions have been asked a ton over the 23+yrs that this site has been in existence. Please spend time browsing the site, searching for key words, and other members builds threads. Turbo questions such as your exist, and we want to be careful limiting the amount of duplicate threads asking the same questions when they have been answered.
