Yes but only 3 out of the 4 bolts will fit for the front.
i am not sure about the rear.

 

You may have to make a custom bracket. I've done it before, but that was a couple years ago. I'm pretty sure its fairly easily done.

 

good question. rear seats...probably not because the 3rd gen is a 50/50 split and gen 2 is a 60 /40 split. the center seat holder(pivot) would have to be relocated. additionally the side pivot points might not line up. anything is possible but you'll have to work at it. leather gen 3 rear seats would look sweet in a gen 2!

 

wat do you do about the automatic seatbelts?

ry to be more specific in your question.

 

Gen 3 rear seats are not as wide as gen 2 rear seats, therefore they will not fit properly, unless you don't mind a small gap on either side of the seat.

sorry.. what i meant was that since g2's have auto matic seat belts.. how do you adapt them to the g3 seats? do you let the seat belt roller just kick it there or what? how do you bolt it on?

Don't think you'd have a problem there. Except for the lap belt part on the gen 2

 

you woudl have a problem.. the shoulder harness extends from the seats as well. not just the lap belt

 

BTW,, my frend just installed recaros in his gen2.. he had to disable the motor mice and run a 4 point race harness. pull the plug under the passenger seat to stop the beeping noise

 

so pretty much what is being said is that only the g2 seats will fit without having to disable the automatic seat belts?

you can buy a JDM conversion kit- sometime on ebay- that eliminate the motor all together and make the belts more like Gen3. You'll have to weld a few bolts for safety reasons too I believe.

 

Man not all have auto seat belts...mine sure doesn't!

 

JDM and CDN models dont have automatic seat belts.

 

i just put race seats in my 91 ls.. all i did for the automatic seatbelts was make a bracket, bolt it to the slides on the seat, and bolt the whole seatbelt onto the bracket.. The buckle and belt for the automatic seat belt come right off the original seat!

my good friend put G3 Seats in his G2. here is what happened. The back upper pieces fit ok, but there was a gap on either side, the bottom will fit in, but there will also be a gap about 3 inches on either side. As for the front, i remembered that all of the bolts did not like up, and he took self tapping screws and drilled into the frame to hold the seat where the new holes didnt line up.
