Neither of my Integras ever made it to the half mark on the temp gauge on the street. In fact I would be worried if I ever saw it go that high when I wasn't on the racetrack.

 

I've got mine to the half way mark on the street once. It was about 100 degrees that day and I was racin around town makin lots of 2nd gear pulls etc.

 

1/2 is rare and not normal....

 

my temp needle rises high as hell now and drops when i rev the engine i think its the thermmostat? What does it sound like to you guys?

 

thermostat probably , the reason it drops when you rev is prolly b/c the water pump is pumping faster, make sure your fans are working properly to.

 

Yeah, it was also because I had forgot to refill my overfill tank when I flushed the radiator that week, and my rad was only about 3/4 full ;-p.
