99 should be obd2a, because i think obd2b had the electronic key immobilizer built in

 

okeythas easy bro. a 96-98 models are obd2a, 99-01 models are obd2b. the differences between the two are their own ecus and their wiring connectors going to the ecus. for example: the pinoouts of a obd2a and obd2b are way different. try to search them online to see the pinouts.

P72 : 00-01 OBD-2b Integra GSR
P73 : 96-00 OBD-2 Integra Type-R (JDM & USDM)

P75 : 96-99 OBD-2a Integra LS/GS
P75 : 00-01 OBD2b Integra LS/GS

as you can see obd2b started in 2000-2001
