u should look into the ones that uses bright LED inside, i have bright white, but it gets hot in like a minute...so LED would be the way to go...check here www.superbrightled.com they should have those selections at cheap prices...

My dome light bulb came from Twain. I can't read the lettering. but it's blue.

 

yeah changed mine, got ice blue bulbs from polarg. they llok great, but not as functional as stock bulbs, so keep that in mind. and when you do change them, make sure you get colored glass, not painted colored glass. i noticed the painted ones provide no interior light except and looks like a night club. the colored glass, allows the light to shine through.

I put new bulbs in my trunk and in my dome night. the ones i use are the hyper white M16 bulbs and Wow, its so bright in there now at night. The trunk is amazingly bright now. It cost $5 for two of them at one of the import shops in my town.

 

Gumby.......what is the name of the shop you got them at? Where exactly is it located? Are they available on-line? I go through Madtown every so often, maybe I should pick a pair up. I haven't been able to find what I am looking for in Milwaukee. What is the light like? I mean is it real white, kinda blue, etc. Thanks a lot.

PS - Will the M16 size fit? Is it the same size as the 3022? (From you handle, it looks like you have a 99 Teg, which is what I have, so if it fits in yours, it will fit in mine).

 

the shop is called Evasion Motor Sports, (used to be V-tec M.S) right by west town mall, and Ginza (Japanese resturant) The owner is matt and i just walked in there and asked for hyper white M16 bulbs for my trunk and dome light. And he sold them to me for i think $7 or so, which isnt that bad concidering on E-bay its $10 plus shipping. But they are bright. Really bright.
It has a light tint of blue when they are on but as i said they are really bright.

Hmmm i painted the cover on my dome light but u want it to be whiter so don't think that would work. Maybe u could find an ultra clear cover and find a xenon white bulb or something. Good luck

 

ok i went to a store and i got 3022 size bulbs for the map and dome lights, but they are MUCH bigger than the stock ones, and they JUST barely fit in the map ones, (im afraid theyll get too hot and/or blow) and it doesnt even fit in the dome light, any suggestions?

Where did you get the bulbs from I know this place on rt.355 you can get some imported one that will fit perfect. Just give me a call or PM and I go with you to this place I know in Rockville...
