OEM basically means stock so yes thats an oem ITR spoiler, as for fitment go here

ah if you end up getting one make sure you snap a few pics, never seen a 4 door with a type r wing

here is mine when i had my jdm db8 itr wing and trunk lid. these are the only pics that i have since i sold the spoiler. oh yeah, its authentic and will not fit 2drs.

 

i have a random question about DB8 wings on coupes, is it relatively easy to drill holes for it or would it just be better to buy a type r hatch off hmotorsonline.com for $100 without the wing. i want a wing for my stock wingless Integra LS and im looking at the ITR wing.

 

I've been searching for an OEM one for the DB but they are usually pretty rare to come by. Whatever you do, do NOT purchase from Spoiler Depot. They say they have a 4dr ITR spoiler however they ship the 2dr and say the 4drs are out of stock. The 2dr will NOT work, trust I wish it would but it's not feasible w/o drilling uneeded holes in your trunk lid.

 

oh well i dont have any holes so w/e might work.

 

It will look stupid---the 2dr one is going to look MUCH smaller on your teg, I mean if you have it side by side you would notice but if you don't care how it fits/looks go for it but I would suggest be patient and attempting to get one for the 4dr.

check ebay every now and then....i got my OEM for 100 shipped in itr white. i got the chips filled in and painted for about 125ish. heres a few pics:

 

the 4dr one is longer than the 2dr. if you have a stock spoiler than the jdm/oem 4dr spiler bolts up with no drilling.

oem DB8 wings will NOT fit 2dr. they are longer and you cant even bolt it on a 2dr's rear hatch.

 

4 door ITR spoilers WILL NOT fit 2 doors
2 door ITR spoilers WILL NOT fit 4 doors

its as easy as that, find the one made for your car

 

this is getting a silly...the two door wing will absolutely NOT fit on the four door, and vice versa...one is designed for a HATCH...one is designed for a TRUNK..that difference alone should tell you to forget about it...besides, a dc wing will be much easier than trying to find a db wing

well then, you will just have to spend the time looking for a db spoiler like the rest of us(myself included)..every time i bid on one on eBay, someone snatches it up at the last minute..bastards!!...im hoping passwordjdm will get some in stock soon....i need that db8 type-r love!!
