Hey guys got 96 two-door transmission problem went and bought another one found out that the one that I bought is from a 98 4 door when it was listed as a 96 is that going to be a problem installing or will it not even bolt up? I know they're both the same engines but upon looking at it it looks like the bolts on the top don't line up and the GS transmission looks bigger on the outside measurement wise versus the LS P.S. both are automatic.

96 2DOOR fit with 98 4DOOR HELP!!!!!!
So update got the 4door transmission in it bolted right up but I did run into an issue the computer at the yard told the salesperson that the transmission would fit from 96 to 98 or-99 what I realized when I bought a 98 is the bolts are slightly off in measurement only in 96 or 97 transmission will fit for a 96 car does not matter two-door or four-door. This is based off of the past week and a half car now runs strong now just do routine maintenance and all should be well.
