I am curently upgrading my amp sub package to 2 Audiobahn Flame 12" subs. they run 1100w Rms and peeak at 2200w. should I use one 1200w amp and under power them or 2 1000w amps and punch the crap out of them?

Get the audiobahn flame amp. You will be MUCH better off as far as sound quality is concerned.
Plus, you have to keep in mind the impeadance of the subs
