If you have enough patience with yourself and the tools to do the prep work it will save a good bit of money...especially if you're taking it for a "budget" paintjob. Most places that give $600 paintjobs usually don't do a LOT of prep work so anything you do on top what they do will one probably cut the cost a little bit and two get the paint a better surface to lay on. Trying searching some keywords there is a couple different threads about this.

What should I take off/out? Like take the engine out and the seats and everything like that? Maybe provide me with a list or something thanks
