Good morning Team-Integra!
I never post on this website because anything I need to know has been posted already and I love this site because of that. So much information at ease and very organized. But I been trying to do a lot of research on the Mugen MR5 wheels but haven't really found what I'm looking for as far as information on them. What I mean is, I want to know if there's any way anyone would know how many of these wheels were made, in what color, in what size and how RARE are 16" wheels, and why? Also wanted to get clarified on what is meant by "Special Edition", and "Final Edition"...Any information would be a great help! Thanks in advance!

So I finally got a chance to post some information I found about the Mugen MR5 wheels. The following information is bits and pieces that I got from different forums on the web. So if any information is incorrect, please feel free to correct me.

So the wheels came in 3 different colors which were flat polish, black, and a teal blue. Below are some pictures of what the colors looks like.

They also came in 3 different sizes: 14", 15", 16" and also there was two different editions which were "Anniversary Edition" and "Final Edition"... The "Anniversary Edition" were the Teal Blue ones. The Final Editions came with an extended outer lip and all the rivet bolts around the wheel had an "f" on them for "Final Edition". The "Anniversary Edition also had the "f" on the rivet bolts. Listed below is a picture of what I'm talking about..

I believe the Anniversary and Final Editions came in 15"x 6.5" and 16"x 7"... They also came with a extra lip before the polished outer lip of the wheel. Picture belows show the differences between a regular wheel and the "Anniversary" and the "Finals"..

what this looks like is the diffrance between a 15" and 16" .. that would give you the extra lip

love these rims and thanks for the info

These wheels are very rare to come by because they are 20+ years old but to find them in 16" x 7" in any color or edition is even more rare.....Just would like to know how many sets was produced in this size...The reason I ask is because I spent a very long time on finding a set! Finally have a set of black ones in my posession as we speak!!! So if anybody out there have any more info on these wheels please share so it can kill my curiosity! lol

Just noticed that the Anniversary's have a 1 small lip from the face of the wheel and 2 outer lips oppose to the Final's which only has one small lip from the face of the wheel and one larger outter lip. The original versions which came in 14"s, only came with 1 outerlip. Below are pictures so you can see the difference...

Why does the front bumper look out of place in the first pic?

Always love seeing pix of this car. Want to see it in person one day. Love all the dedication

Mugen Anniversaries came in both blue and silver, but had the double stepped lip meaning they were orignally 14" wheels made into 15" wheels because of the barrel. Finals are exactly the same as the Anniversaries. The most rare MR5 is the 16" which is similar to all other MR-5's with the single barrel lip and not double stepped like it's final/anniversary counterparts.

The F on the bolts has nothing to do with it being a Final version. The maker of the MR-5 was FORTRAN and the later versions used their marked hardware, regardless if it's a final version or not.
