Im just curious if anyone has used this amp or any reviews on this amp. I'm using one right now but I really dont know how to tune it very well with my face.

Here are my specs for my system I have all parts but waiting to install in warm weather.

Zapco AG 650 6 channel amp.
Sony MEX-1HD.
2 12 inch alpine type R subs.
*I also have
1 12 inch PPI Flat piston pro 8ohm sub
1 12 inch PPI Flat piston pro 4ohm sub.*
Since ohms are different I decided not to mix and match.

polk audio components front speakers.
polk audio 3 way speakers for the rear.

what do you guys think of this setup?
Strengths? weaknesses? PPI sub/s or the alpines?

tell me what you guys think.

yeah i guess i'll have to put the subs on another amp.

How do you think the setup is with the subs?
Do you guys think I should use a capacitor?

Should I keep any of the components of this system or just get somthing newer/better?

Suggestions? Im open to anything You guys think would be good for sound quality.

Thanks Bobby

Ok Update**
I installed everything today.
My amp and my subs with my face and a cap.

I have one big problem.
My power wire is poping fuses like crazy.
Its a 40 amp ATO fuse which likes to pop instantly when I turn on my face. The power wire is from my battery to my cap to my amp. Ground is the bolt underneath the rear seat so its close to the amp.

Any ideas?
I tried taking out the cap and it does the same.
I checked my ground many many times and changed it around. I checked my remote turn on switch and it seems fine. Took out the subs and speakers.

My amp has 3 25a blade ATO fuses on it also. They are not blown. Its only the power wire which has the 40A blade fuse on it.

Help if you can.

a 40 amp fuse for that big ass amp?

i hope that you realize that:
"hmmm, the zapco is potentially pulling up to 75 amps of current"

so that:
"my 40 amp fuse at the battery isn't enough to power my amplifier"

how this isn't totally obvious is beyond me, but oh well, i expect too much of people perhaps
