I'm looking for what I believe was a Type R shifter knob. Its black leather with red stitching. I have been trying to decide on a theme for the interior and I've decided against going with carbon fiber in that area. I've got the boot with red stitching and now I need the knob. If anyone has one or knows where I can get one, then please let me know. I'm always keeping an eye on ebay for one to come up, but I haven't seen one in quite awhile. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks!

the itr shift knob wasn't leather with red stiching, only the boot was. You might be talking about an aftermarket one...

edit: ha whoops, looks like i was wrong about the early itr's

It might not have been the ITR knob then. Maybe it was a CTR knob. I'm pretty sure at one point the ITR had a red stitched leather shift knob, though. I'll have to do some research to find out when.

edit: Ah, that was easy. This guy seems to know what he's looking for. That is the knob I want.

NO--- the 1997-98 ITR came with a red stiched shift knob-- trust me on this on ---please!
2000+ had the metal/titanium ones
