Two questions. I just installed a LSD into my gsr tranny. I was wondering if I'm going to have to use synchro mesh now or can I still use Honda MTF? The second is...what do I use to seal the tranny casing when I'm putting it back together? I know its a kind of 3 bound seal stuff but what exactly is it. Thanks all.

You can use either Honda MTF or Syncromesh, either one will be fine.

You will need either Hondabond or Permatex Ultragrey for sealing the transmission case.

BTW, what kind of LSD did you install?

Just stick with Honda MTF. Cheap, readily available, and obviously made to run in your tranny.

I got a JDM CTR lsd from a friend in japan. Fits fine and everything...no problems.
