I wasnt so sure so I wanted to ask this question.. sorry newb question =/ But is this light consider the rear sidemarker?

no.. its just part of the taillight... a regular small bulb...

Yea I wasnt so sure.. I blew mine out out and I thought it was just a regular tail light bulb. but turns out it isnt =/ gotta go to autozone and return the bulb now!

Yeah, it's the rear side marker light. It's a 194 or 168 bulb (either will work).

They are the side marker bulbs. The manual calls for a 168 bulb. A 168 bulb is slightly brighter than a 194 - some might not notice the difference. I put longlife 194's in mine because I couldn't find longlife 168's. The longlife's have a higher concentration of inert gas which keeps the filament from vaporizing and depositing on the inside of the bulb so quickly, which dims it. I have noticed that on small bulbs like these this problem is more severe. I figure that after a short time, the the standard 168's will dim down to 194 brightness and will then dim even further so the longlife 194's are a better choice.
