I've called all over the place and everyone sells whole sets of synchros and I'm just lucking to get the 2nd to 3rd gear synchro with the dog collar. Anyone know a place that would sell just the 2nd to 3rd gear synchro?

I asked, but they come with the gear as well and they're about the same price as an aftermarket full set of synchros.

Gear speed sells carbon coated synchros that should last you longer than replacing with OEM ones.

yeah from what i hear...gear speed has pretty good replacement synchros...should last longer

I just bought them...talk to James at Gear-Speed. Super nice guy and great customer service...

That's a good question...just give 'em a call. Do you have the tranny apart, or are you just guessing those two based on them grinding a little?

3,4,5 synchro is carbon coated, the rest are brass... $150 for them. I just picked mine up a few days ago. They're the best you can get.

*The whole "kit" come with brass and they charge like $275

And yes the tranny is all the way apart.

yeah...that was from gear-speed....I actually sent my shafts to James after I had emailed him pictures...I ended up needing more than I thought..

oh yeah, and don't neglect the input shaft bearing...that's a good one to check...
