I just spent three weeks looking for the right place to buy wheels. I decided on www.whalentire.combut they would not have the Konigs I wanted for a month (crate order Japan). After looking around I could not find a place with a better price. I started looking for a place that had them in stock http://www.discounttiredirect.com/ had them but they were $31 extra each for a total of $124 more. I called again and told them www.whalentire.com would give them to me for $31 less and they split it with me. only $40 more than whallen Tire total.
I got my rims from www.WheelMax.com. one thing I liked was the optional warranty for the rims. I bought the 3 year warranty for $80 so if I bent a rim and leak tire pressure they replace it for free. As far as I could find they are the only ones offering anything like this. Some people might think this is a rip off- but they don't live in cleveland ohio either. I went for it after I bent the hell out of my old rims.
edit- one other thing- I upgraded to ToyoFZ4s for only $100 which seemed like a steal to me.
onlinetires.com is also a great place to look. When I curbed two of my Katana C5s they were able to get me two more for about a hundred bucks apiece. Great deals on rims. They are really nice to work with too.
