Where could i purchase a brand new OEM integra type r muffler ?

I called a few Acura dealerships and they all gave me a quote on the regular mufflers for the LS, GS, and the GS-R.

Part number: # 18030-ST7-Z61

That is not the ITR muffler though. It doesn't have the chrome 3" slash cut tip welded to it.

Is it not possible to buy one, or will i just have to find a used one ?

18030-ST7-Z61 is the part number for the ITR muffler and it comes with the stainless steel tip welded on.

The part numbers for the other Integra coupe models (ie. RS, LS, GS) mufflers is 18030-ST7-A60, 18030-ST7-A40, 18030-ST7-C60, 18030-ST7-C41, etc.

You can purchase the muffler from several online Acura parts dealers (see links below).

ook i guess i thought it was the same muffler as the other models because it was showing a tip with a screw/fastener to clamp it onto the tip with. thanks

The Acura/Honda parts diagrams do not always show the exact part, this would be the reason for the confusion.
