I just swapped the motor/tranny and this is my first time working with a light weight flywheel and 6 puck clutch. The problem is very annoying, when I rev the engine to let go of the clutch, I have to rev it to around 3k. If I rev it to 2k then the rpm will just suddenly drop for no reason to almost 0 rpm the shoot back up to 2k. I dont think this has anything to do with the clutch since my problems occur when the clutch is pressed in.

Has anyone had this problem before?

old thread... but i am having problems when i rev to 1500 it drops to 1000. whether i am in neutral or in 1st gear. does anyone know what could be wrong?
