hey all. just got a set of rims. i bought them used. had my mechanic run them on some machine thang that checked for warpage. anyhow, 1 day on my car, and it seems my car is biased towards the left i.e. let go of steering wheel, car moves left. does this mean i need a wheel alignment? i haven't smashed into any potholes since owning them.

thanks.

I'm no expert, but if you aren't sure about the current state of your car's alignment, then getting a four wheel alignment might not be a bad idea. I think that the benefits of it will probably outweigh the cost.

NTB (National Tire and Battery) will do a free alignment CHECK for you. They'll give you a report that you can bring anywhere, and last I checked, would charge you bout 75 bucks for the actual alignment.

Did you get tires with those rims also???? If so, they could have a broken belt, or even just be worn funny and make your car pull one way or the other.
