Those are Work Emotion CR's AKA Rota Torque's ... exact same wheel cosmetically -- one is expensive, one's a cheap knockoff.
oh ok i really like them, the rota's are more in my budget since i just bought the car and it had a bent rim! so i need new one, Thanks for lettin me know what they are.
if you can get away with your bent rim, I suggest you save for the original ones.

Rota's are ok, but its my personal belief that making replica's of something is theft. They've stolen a design made by Work and make it for cheap.

That is poor form. Like someone copying your homework and submitting it as your own

x2! Its like buying generic acetaminophen instead of buying Tylenol. Sure it works just as well, and is basically the same thing without the fancy name brand, gets used up just as fast, and avoids needlessly spending alot of money.. er.. wait.. maybe that was a bad example.

Ok, here.. its like buying Sketchers that look just like Madden shoes. Sure they look just as nice, and work just as well, and wear out eventually just like the REAL deal, and avoids needlessly spending alot of money.. er.. oh crap, that was a bad example too.

sorry..
thats not true. I would imagine the Work Emotion CR Kai's are much lighter, better quality and they dont look the same, similar yes but not the same... please dont say that.
it is true though that on a daily driver for the average joe, why would i get the Work wheels? I may bend a wheel and I don't need the tiny weight savings. Also, if the look is not exactly the same, but slightly different... what if I like the Rota style better? After all, wheel appearance is largely just a matter of opinion.

Those wheels do however, look GREAT!

I'd go for that look. no matter the brand.

Best example i have ever seen

alot of ppl copy other people, its like saying you wouldnt buy an aem intake cuz they stole it from injen, thats the good thing about our society, the ability to make parts.
No everyone goes to Acura for there parts we go to Advance and pep boys and autozone and so on
if your tight on money buy the rotas there not bad wheels and there good for the price..

i never said anything about using them on a DD... i never dissed anything, i was just simply stating that they arent the same wheel, they dont look exactly alike. If you like the Rota Style better, then MORE POWER TO YA.

I rock old school enkeis, i dont care anyways.

Mind you, i dont know how accurate this site is, but according to wheelweights.net....

Rota Torque:
15x6.5 = 13 lbs.
17x7 = 18 lbs.

Work Emotion CR
15x7 = 15 lbs.
17x7 = 19 lbs

Also, all wheel manufacturers have to meet strict federal regulations regarding functional quality to be able to sell their rims in the US.

Yes, there is a small varience in the look of the rim. Just about as much difference as the bottle that says "Tylenol" and the one that says "RiteAid - acetaminophen".

Your "I would imagine" statement is a prime display of why many popular/brand-name companies can charge so much more for their product than it is actually worth.. because many people have been made to believe the name = better. So they assume the product with the name-brand will be better quality, even though they've done zero supportive research. $$$$ for the name brand company.

..and of course, our current society is largely materialistic, so they want to sport the "bling" factor that the product they bought has a specific name on it.
