i was looking under the hood and i noticed a hose just hanging there not connected to anything. the hose looks like it is suppose to connect to something that goes into the car under the dash through a hole. the other end of the hose goes down and connects to what looks like the steering rack or axle not sure. i know its not much info but i want to know what this hose is for?

the hole is to the right of the circular thing right behind the brake fluid resorvoir. i think its a powersteering hose.
