Lastnight I bought a 96 integra gsr. Pretty sure the engine threw a rod through the block. It's a b18c1 block and holy crap are they expensive for a used one. Iv been entertaining the idea of putting an ls block like a b18b. But I'm new to this. I dont know what I need to do for retrofit purposes I'm very mechanically inclined but I have never done engine work on a vtec motor. Any help would be greatly appreciated, info on where to buy a block and rotating assembly that wont break the bank and be able to swap my gsr head on would help alot

Okay iv decided to do an LS vtec swap. I found a b18a1 block with a p72 head already built internals. Will this mate up to the transmission that is in my car. I am to understand that it is the factory gsr transmission.
