I was driving home from the races tonight and now my tranny is unable to shift into 4th gear, after it shifts from third it just sits there and revs... Time for a 5speed swap... a little sooner than expected.

now only the first and second gears work... and i still have 500+ dollars in parts i need to purchase for 5speed swap.

Yeah, N2O has to be pretty rough on the tranny. Hope it works out for the best so you don't have to stop driving your teg around!

yeah.. I have a 96' Tacoma pickup if this tranny does drop soon though. I should have my 5 speed done in a month and a half.

dumb question but.. when you took it to the track did you shift it or did you let the car shift itself?

i shifted it, but that wouldn't matter. N-drops are killer on autos.... anyway, the tranny uped and died, so i can't drive my teg for like a month until I save up enough cash for the tranny and tranny mounts Teg is just sitting there in my garage on jack stands. :~(
