I need a new vehicle speed sensor on my 88 Integra LS. I think it's just a small circuit board on the back of the instrument cluster and next to the speedometer cable. It looks easy enough to replace yet my Chilton manual says its not user servicable. Does anyone know what's involved with its replacement?

I was looking into the same think for my 89 RS. The check engine light comes on and was justed headed to pickup the Chilton manual!! Are you getting the check engine light too??? Did you get the same 17 code off of it?? That what mine keeps flashing???

i am getting the same thing code 17 but only every now and then . but my cruise doesn't work either .
