I do not know what they are called. They look like rubber washers between my valve cover and the bolts that secure it to the top end of the engine block. I can see 4 (one on each corner of the valve cover). And there are 4 more under the sparkplug cover.
Anyway, 2 of them are starting to leak, one even cracked. I saw in the last HondaTuning magazine that a lot of people are using metal ones. Where can I get those metal washers? Are they after-market or typeRs.

go to any auto parts store. i just replaced mine the other day for like $23. all those bolt seals, valve cover seal, and seals for the spark plugs come in a package. idk anything about metal ones...

the fel pro valve cover gasket set has the metal washers with all the seals.

I just bought that felpro kit yesterday. Gets the job done, and the metal washers with gaskets were a pleasant surprise.

I lost one of mine because it was stuck to the valve cover and got lost. I replaced mine with #23

What's the advantage in the Fel Pro Kit over the OEM issue? That's a relatively hefty price spike...
