Ive been working on my wire tuck for the last week or so.... Ive made some progress so far.

First off, i went ahead and took the head off because i knew with that off, id have plenty of room to work around in the engine bay without taking out the whole motor. Ill eventually pull it but not yet. Another reason i pulled the head was cuz i bought a new one :)

Along with taking the head off, i went ahead and removed the radiator, bumper, fender, all my intercooler piping and intercooler. I had already removed all my ac crap and ps crap on my last motor build. Then went ahead and took out my stupid emissions crap(i know the car wont pass emissions w/o it, and i dont care). I went ahead and removed my windsheild washer fluid bottle and all the lines that went with it. ok i think you all get the point :)

Then i went ahead and removed my Dashboard. That people is a BIG pain in the behind.

While the dash was out, i went ahead and threw away my heater core and AC blower box. Heavy peices of JUNKS :)

My plans are to go with a FULL wire tuck, not this half ass tuck. I mean relocate the battery and fuse box. Remove my ABS. Relocate all my brake lines to the inside the cabin. Weld all the holes shut. Repaint the engine bay. Pretty much have my engine Floating :)

Here is the pictures of how it was 2 weeks ago:

and here is what my car kinda looks like now but W/O the Window sticker now!

Heres my bay as of right now:

Driver Side still untouched:

No more Battery, Fuse Box or Wires along the Pass side:

Front Bumper Gone :):

Pass side Fender Removed so I can start this side of the Tuck:

Here is where all my wires lie, Can you see that Fuse Box? It will soon be resoldered and mounted in its new location:

And finally, all those ugly heavy boxes are gone! Now to mount my 99-00 Civic SI 40/40 prop valve in that general location:

Well, some people move it to the right rear of the Valve cover and bolt it up to the lower part of the frame. But then again, i hear that you can remove that ground wire. Ive ran without that ground wire before and i didnt notice any problems, but then again Im just gonna mount my to the location i mentioned above. Make sense?

OK so this is where i stand on my project! It took me a couple hours to do 18 wires for the fuse box cuz i wanted to make sure i got it all right and make sure no wire were showing. I dont want to blow fuses :( I put shrink wrap on it AND wrapped it with electrical tape, Can never be TOO careful ;)

Here is the Fuse box, CUT and ready to be soldered:

Here it is all soldered and Wrapped up:

A closer look:

You don't care about getting any air blown through the vents when your dash is back on?
The only things that made those boxes heavy where the cores inside of them wich can be removed. Unless you keep the blower motor and channel the moving air using duct?

Btw doing the fusebox wires must have sucked! I hate doing electrical work blah.

This wont be a daily driver so the last thing im worried aboout is having air being blown through any of my vents. Im having all the holes in the fire wall welded shut and i took those boxes out cuz i dont need them any more.. it will make room for all my extra goodies ill be hiding behind the dash such as: prop valve with brake lines, fuse box, and maybe even my battery(havent decided yet).......

and yes, soldering is a PAIN IN THE ASS.. I burnt myself a few times!
