Hey bro’s, so I put in a type r motor and type r tranny into my integra. Every gear shifts really nicely and everything feels good, however, when shifting into 3rd from 2nd, at 8500rpm, the gear gate feels very open, like as I shift in, I feel no tightness in the gear gate. Like it goes in too easy, I also hear a little grind/hit/crunch. It’s not a bad grind but it definitely makes a noise and I can feel it in the shifter. I was told my synchros were going bad so I switched to another type r tranny and it’s doing the same thing. It goes into 3rd the way it should at 8200rpms and 8700 rpms, just right at 8500 it feels a little strange.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

As you stated, it sounds like a syncro issue. Even though you swapped out transmissions, it's a common thing. Premature wear is caused by "speed shifting" on the syncros. Let's face it, the people who owned these cars with these transmissions weren't getting groceries on their trips. It's more uncommon to find a transmission that hasn't been used hard.
