Does anybody have any experience with this header? I was told by a few shops that it is a really good header. but is it really worth 500-600 bucks?? I looked at the header test and saw a comparison of the type 1 and the dc jdm, and they were almost the same, but that was a type r, i have a gsr and with intake, cat, exhaust, dc 4-1(getting rid of it), and plan to get mild cams and VAFC.

Why are you parting with the 4-1 header?

im parting with the dc 4-1 because i am going with the 2.5 in. exhaust setup. I read the articles at hondavision. To get the extra long hybrid 4-2-1's, your probably gonna have pay the extra dollar(700 bucks), the type 1 header was gonna run me 600, so what im getting out of this is if im not gonna go with the the extra long hybrid header, then i should get the jdm dc 4-1, since it is the same length as the type 1, but cheaper.

right, i have done the research on these, and yes i would love to have one, but i already bought the cat that would match up to the jdm headers, in order to get the smsp or hytech extra long headers, i would need a different cat...correct? i dont need the absolute best, if i was gonna do that, i would be forced into getting the whole hytech exhaust system
im just looking for a nice jdm 2.5 in. header that will give me better gains than my dc 4-1 that i have now.
