no- please do a search before posting stuff like this. TI is a great place to learn about Integras and tuning, all you need to do is search. There is plenty of information regarding turbocharging in the forums and articles

Sounds like you and your friend need to read up on 'em.

By saying a turbo is "working" is pretty vague. As soon as exhaust gas comes out of the head, through the manifold, and into the turbo, it's technically, "working".

If you look under Articles, there is an article called Turbo 101, it is 3 pages of how turbos work and such. That should be enough info for you.

neither of you can tell a throttle plate from a bypass valve from a wastegate, so why are you even having a debate?

Tell you're friend he has no idea what he's talking about, and neither do you.

Try reading the turbo articles, if you knew the first thing about turbos you'd have answered this already.
