Hey guys, I decided I'm going boost but before I do I'm rebuilding this block to avoid complications in the future. I'm purchasing forged rods and pistons and therefore putting in new oem rod bearings but my question is, do I need to buy new oem main bearings? I wasn't planning on pulling the crank.

I would still remove your caps and double check your clearances. If you're going to boost and you're going to have the block torn down already, why not check to see if they're within spec at that point in time?

Good point. I wasn't sure I wanted to take on the task of replacing main bearings since Iv never replaced them before but I guess theres a first time for everything. I have the Integra Service manual so it should help me out some.
