well i bought my head from evans honda specialist, then i bought most of my internals for the head from japan spoon sports, like springs, valves retiners, cams, cam gears, stuff like that, than i took it to my firends shop and he took a week doing it right, they need to use a machine shop to do the oil supply and tap the old oil supply then they need to swap to things i forgot the name of them they are on ls block opposite from vtec block, they need to pull the whole engine out, so they could do the oil suplly correctly, also i would sugest to get rod bolts thicker ones so the could handle vtec reving high, the vtec wiring ,i sugest odb-1 so you could chip the ecu and its easier for you, it up to you changing pistons, and more well i don't want to write a book so the cost for a good set up with you having most of the parts, would be around 1500 done right, i pay a lot for mine for all the internals i have, but trust me its worth it, now i'm just working on a on swaping my tranny even tho i'm auto i spank the sh*t out gs-r and i keep up with type r all the way to third gear, good luck man!!!

adding a turbo wouldn't be the best thing for you to do.

the ls/vtec is a great thing for n/a, with high compression and all. if you add a turbo to that set up, you're just gonna get mild gains from all of this money that you've put into your car.

couple of examples, the cams most useful for an n/a setup aren't going to work well for a turbo. and an n/a port/polish isn't gonna be the best thing with a turbo either. and vice versa

so, in short, you have the ls/vtec done, so use your money for better power gains in the n/a route
