Im having somee tranny problems... When I depress the clutch pedal.. theres a horrible grinding noise... and when I put it in gear and depress.. the whole car hops.. not sure if its the y arm or throwout bearing... any ideas.. help me...

hmmm thinkin....possible booth...grinding is usually the TOB but engagement problems might be the cutch pressure plate

Oh yeah... i also forgot to mention that it also doesnt go into fifth gear anymore... lots of probs.. not really sure what to do.. hopefully someone more knowledgable about tranny and gearing could help me out.. thanx...

did it just start doing it...its prolly in the clutch, mabey a broken hub?..where are you located?

broken hub...i doubt it...im willing to bet the pp is slighty bent causing engagement problems...and the tob is shot

im talking aboot the springs on the hub maybe broken...i think that happened to bens car...it also happened to my blazer but thats a whole nother story

could be...but ost liekly he'd have problems engaging any gear at that point...ask b-rad when he used to drive w/ a clutch engaged all the time...heh...could be bent shifter forks also...its a toss up until u pull it apart
