well..i went to the track yesterday and hit a 15.3 @ 92mph with CAI and headers only

o yeah..i was running street tires..i was hoping for a 15 flat but i guess i cant expect too much knowing it was my first time. my 60 ft time sucks nuts. any suggestions to lower it? thanks

I was at cmi all day sunday, what integra was yours, i was there in my teg but i did not race it, it was parked in the pit.

I have also found that the car pulls better when I shift into second at about 7500 rpms. It also stays in vtec range.

personally i think it was b/c i launched at 2000 rpm(b/c of the street tires). i didn't want to peel out. hence, its took me forever to get into the GSRs powerband location.

I've gone to the track many times in street tires (in my GSR) and tried multiple launch techniques. Running on 20-22psi on the front tires... I find dropping the clutch at 4-4.2k I pulled my best times. I would be wrong, but this I find to be the best technique. Btw, I pulled a 15.2 with an AEM CAI on a BLAZIN hot day and muggy as hell.

o ok..i didn't think i could launch that high..b/c my friend in a bone stock hatchback launched at 2000rpm with streets and he peeled out like a mother. next time IF i run streets again..i'll try 4000-4500 rpm.

Yea, I find out you dont wanna bog off the line. Let some tire pressure out and spin until you reach your powerband. I mean I've done numerous runs with different techniques. Give it a try and tell me how it works =)
