I was recently helping a friend move and I filled the back of my trunk quite tightly... anyway, when i opened the trunk, the two pipes on the side that normally fill with air so that the hatchback doesn't close wasn't working anymore. My hatch can't stay open on its own now, is there a way to fix this on my own? thanks.

Use your head.

No...I mean...literally, hold it up with your head.

That's exactly what I do. Then when it decides to stay up you're like, "Oh, it's deciding to work today." Then...BAM! You get hit in the head.
