I was replacing my thermostat today since it has been stuck lately. Everything was ok until I noticed the green wire on the temp sensor broken :/ it's got mildew on the sensor nd there isn't enough room for me to splice it back. What can I do?

Go to a junkyard and get them to take one off for you with some wire left attached, then splice into it.

Either that or take the sensor itself off and directly solder wires to it, and find some connector and splice the connector on each side to plug it in.

That's going to have to be replaced otherwise youre not going to have a cooling fan.

Yeah, I'm aware of what that sensor is for :/ I'll see if I can run to a junkyard or find someone parting one out on cl. Thanks guys.
