How do you take off the chrome e-brake button?

i dont think you can...mines all cracked and stuff and i was gunna replace but i dont think you can take it off without replacing the whole ebrake assembly

Yes the button is removable. I cant remember if it unscrews or just twist and pull.

I got one that is chrome from the Delray Acura website and I didn't do my research on how to put it on..woops..


Edit: And I have the new one right now, it looks as if it would just pull out but I tried with pliers and it's not budging.

vice-grap works best, but you will want to put the new one on by hand

I used a pliers to get it off. I think It unscrewed.

I'm ordering one. Maybe a type R silver one instead of the chrome.
