which one is better. i heard the straight pipe would give you better performance but is not smog legal. does anyone know which one would give better performance? and the straight pipe is cheapter too.
thank you for putting that up...we deal with a lot of asthma in kids and smog alerts are not helping...testpipes on a race only situation is one thing but testpipes on daily drivers that idle for more than 2 min.? sorry, but you can't call yourself an adult or intelligent if you do that...you can call yourself self-centered though,....yes I am being serious and if I pissed you off, I apologise. Just my humble opinion only though...you can do whatever you want (unfortunately for all of us if you choose a testpipe that gains little over a properly sized cat).Fentoozler45 on 15/June/2002 said:Let me put it this way... with a test pipe YOU WILL NOT PASS EMISSIoNS!
Do you want to change your exhaust every year to get it smogged, then put it back and risk getting a ticket becuase you car smells like ass and is polluting the environment?
Or... Would you rather put on a Car Sound cat that flows almost as well as a straight pipe in tests and not have to worry about it for a long, long time?
