Hello guys, I just purchased some new rims and tires for my teg. I have researched a bit on coilovers and fake coilovers which i was first intending on getting but I have made my mind up and I want to go with a spring and shock setup and stay at about $500 to $600 for both of them.

I wanted to know everyone's opinion on a set of H&R springs with kyb shocks. Do you think this setup will perform really well? I do not want any bouncing what so ever and I need something that will last me a very long time.

I picked the H&R springs because i've heard a lot about them and how good they perform and that they are better than the eibach springs because the eibach springs aren't low enough in the front.

If anyone has any other setups that perform really well let me know. I'm looking to spend about $500 to $600 only. thanx

dam man suspension is very very difficult and everyone has a different answer for everything. I've heard that koni yellows are nice and work really well but spending that money on that i don't think its worth it. on the other hand i can get true coilovers and its supposed to be the best suspension upgrade. According to what i want out of my suspension i would only want my car a little lower and the same suspension as my stock. I was thinking more along the lines of just getting better shocks and a good set of springs. I'd also get some strut bars too. But all this information i'm hearing from everything is confusing me.

That is how I feel. All I want to do is lower my 98 GSR a little and have the stock suspension. It's not as easy as getting new springs. LOL.

All I have to say is wow! I installed Neuspeed sports and Tokico adj. struts today. The ride is excellent! Not much more harsh than stock at all and I have the struts set at 2 in the front and 3 in the rear. If I change to 5 all around (hardest setting), the car is glued to the road, but a bit bumpy. I love the height of the car as well...a very small amount of fender gap, but I can still take my car most all places without bottoming out. I can post pics tomorrow if anyone is intrested. Thanks!

usually eibachs work the best with kyb agx and any other spring as long as its not more than a 2 inch drop cause the agx work the best with a under 2 inch drop so the eibach pros or sportlines or h&r sports or wahtever should work great with those shocks, great handling and no bouncing

It all depends on what you want out of your suspension.. you want a great handling car, it will cost you... if all you want is for it to be lowered you can do it for less money
