i was wondering if anyone can tell me something about the SPOoN sports p72 ecu ob1, any specs???
is there a big difference from the spoon P73 ecu other then that its a ob2. ???

I'm not sure but, isn't the spoon map used in Japan? Japan = higher octane

i was told that the way japan adveritise their octane is equavalant to what we use here????

No. They do indeed have higher octane fuels over there, that's why all the JDM motors are higher compression.

Their octane numbers are calculated differently, but even when you convert you will see that their "premium" is higher than even our 93. I think their premium is like 97 or whatever.

i highest i seen in ny was 94...does it really make that big of a difference??? i understand if it was 110 ???

If the ECU needs 97 and you put in 93, it'll run like ****.

Why do you want a Spoon ECU so bad? You know that you can't just drop in some random tune and expect it to work. Get YOUR ECU tuned for YOUR motor.

i didn;t say i want it badd.... i just wanted to know more information on it, vtec engagement?, redline?, rev limiter?, speed govern removed? and etc, the difference in P72 to P73 maps, what was improved?... and i didn't expect it to work mircales.... i did a search and nothing came up, even in honda-tech. I just simple wanted more info.

the reason it didn't show up on h-t was because it wasn't worth it. a custom based map for YOUR setup is best.
