speedometer and odometer not working

CHECK THE SPEED SENSOR oN TRANNY MAKE SURE IT IS CoNNECTED AND GROUND IS CoNNECTED
Where is it at on the tranny and what does it look like?
Cool i fixed it there was a cable on the top back of the tranny it wasent pushed in all the way.
Did it have the clip? or is it just resting?
It will fall back out if you dont have it clipped on.
