Does the S2 intake manifold use a gasket? I'm buying one used, so if it does, can I just pick up one at autozone/parts america, or does it require a specific "Skunk2" gasket? TIA

Well of corse you are gonna need a gasket. You should be able to pick one up at an auto parts store. The stock style gaskets have a larger opening then what the actual opening on the manifold opeings are so you should be fine.

sorry in advance for the newbie post.

first,
i thought you said to use liquid gasket instead?

second,
should i use a new stock gasket AND liquid gasket?

third,
can i just use liquid gasket in place of BOTH gaskets?

thanks a lot, i hope this makes sense.

Matt

Nobody said anything about using liquid gasket. Just use a stock intake manifold gasket, the Helms manual doesn't have any mention of liquid gasket on the intake manifold.
