i did some searching and found out that you can follow the G3 radio removal article up to a certain point...but i'm still a bit confused, which screws extactly need to be taken out just to remove the shift boot (Gen3). just the screws from the first 2 pictures (referring to the article again) or what? anyone with any shift boot install tips or anything would be helpfull...i'm sure its really easy i just don't want to mess anything up...i can put a pc together but afriad of installing a shift boot...ha ha

once you remove the center console, you should see how the boot is attached. If I remember correctly, its just four clips on each side (there might be two screws, but I don't remember them)

Its a really easy install.. took me 15minutes to install my ITR boot.

lol just follow the install up to the point where you take out the front part of the middle console. once you get it off you will see easily how to do it
