you can do alot of stuff. Modifications can't void the whole warranty just the warranty on the part that was modified, i/h/c/e you can do withou a problem. Other stuff you can also do(just don't feel like typing other the some letters
). The only this that could void the warranty is if the part actually causes a problem.
Heres the actuall law that relates to the subject
Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act

cancle warrent today now instead of just looking like i got something under the hood, i will have something really have something, but where to start. i have a 96 ls auto(i know, i know). I thinking about going with a full exhaust system, change out the cat with a high proformance one that is still legal( do they make these), cold air intake or a reg. intake. Live in alaska so there is a lot of water and header but which ones. And yes, i know what a search button looks like

I think what airforce1 is trying to say, instead of all show no go, he can now be show and go.

I have a 2000gsr and it's still under warrenty. Like tony4311 said, you can change certain parts of the teg such as I/H/E. The only thing that i would disagree with is the cams because from my understanding and what i've asked at the dealer, you can't replace it without voiding the warrenty even if you get their cams such as the ITR cams...it doesn't matter, the warrenty would be voided. As for myself, my warrenty is still valid since i only did the I/H/E without them knowing about the nitrous yet....hehehe
Well anyways, i'm going turbo soon and saying screw the warrenty. A honda engine is in my opinion, one of the most reliable car there is so don't worry about things going wrong.

I just bought a 99 gsr, still under warrenty. When I bought it I asked the dealer if i/h/e would void the warrenty, and he said yes. does this vary from dealership to delaership ? Im guessing the salesperson didnt know what he was talking about, becasue he said my 2 10"'s would probably void my warrenty. ~John.

Actually we have been discussing this same topic in another thread. When you replace parts on your car, you only void the warranty on the specific part replaced. Also if this part causes something else to fail, the dealer would not be required to replace the failed part under warranty.

Here's a link to one of the discussions on this:
