does any one have the real starter button from the dealership, if so where did you mount( huh, he said mount, kool). Or does any one have any ideals

most of the ones I've seen have been mounted in the cruise control or dash dimmer holes. They look like a perfect fit. I always thought it would be cool to make a mount for it in the change try.

i have one..it mounts PERFECTLY where it fits on the s2000...i dunno how but theres a little spot for it..gorgeous fits cleanly on integs..installation was $30 at diamond bar honda

TypeR430, you got yours installed at the dealer? If the installation only cost $30, how much was the actual starter button? I'm really interested in picking one of these up for my ride, but I'm not to good at installing electrical stuff and I never thought the dealer would install it.

i didnt buy the ACTUAL S2000 one, but i bought an IGNITED engine start button which is the one the s2000 comes with..same thing. $70
if u buy from honda its probably a lot more so stay away from that

I would remove the dimmer....cruise control you would probably use, the dimmer button probably never. on JDM Integras the fog lamp switch is there.

eww i dont like that first link on how to install..it doesnt go well there in the lighter...on gen 3 integs if u look slightly left of the steering wheel theres a little indentation thingy..and they put it right there.i wish could develop my pics..anyways it fits JUST as it would with the actual s2000

Actually that's where the cruise control button is. Type R's just have a blank indentation because they don't come with cruise control, but everyone else has a button there.

I don't even know why there is a cruise control button. I leave mine on all the time. All it does is allow you to turn the cruise control on using the buttons on the steering wheel, but if I don't want it on, I won't hit those buttons. Also, even if you hit the cruise control buttons accidently, unless you never use your breaks, then it won't be a safety problem either. So i'd say remove the cruise control button. But I agree, the dimmer dial is just as useless.

I just bought the ignited start button and took a look at the instructions. I was just wondering, if you have installed the button on your tegs, if the button is flush with the with the dashboard (like the s2000) or does it kind of stick out?

I called my honda dealership back in september of last year. For everything including the mounting they told me OVER 400 BUCKS! That's why I never had it done. But if it's only 100 for everything, that'll get done next month.

I have a question, with the s200 push start, do you need to have the key in the ignition to start it? If not, then wouldnt it be really easy to steal your car?
