i find that a 300mm Broadway Convex mirror helps

Hahaha, you guys think the RSX has a bad blind spot. I dunno about you guys, before i got my RSX, i test drove the 2004 Eclipse.... There is no shoulder checking in one of those, you can't see anything. I don't find the shoulder checking that bad in my car, or in the integra i had before... but thats just me

I test drove a 2004 eclipse before I got this car as well (damn those things are slow =P). I didn't notice anything bad with visibility, nor do I with this car. I've gotten used to it and can see my blind spot and know what's around me without problems. It seems pretty similar to my civic, and my mom's 4 door escort seems fine too. I think you guys are all just imagining things, either that or you need to take some Yoga lessons =P hahaha

PS. It also comes with experience. For those that have been driving less than a year, you might find it hard to check your blind spots. I was almost petrified to get on the freeway at night with my first car. I felt like I couldn't see anything around me.

Thong posted this issue as a safety measure to see if others are having problems also with seeing over the shoulders. In no way is he stating that he weaves in and out of traffic. And niether do I. I have a hard time seeing over my shoulder now and then. It's easier to see towards the passenger side than it is for the driver side. I always double check all my mirrors and try (keyword) to look over my shoulders to see if the lane is clear or not and then change. Never drove a gen4 Integra so I wouldn't know. But yeah it's really hard to check my blindspots.

well if your going left, look out the window real quick, and if your going right just look behind you. It took my a while to get used to the horible blind spots.

Spot mirrors on the side mirrors are your friend. Though I have a 4dr, so it sounds like I have it easy in the first place.

With everyone else, get the convex mirrors. they are huge, but man do they increase your awareness. they also lower glare. the only problem with them is that it's harder to discern features, such as a cop car or regular crown vic. But still with that mirror, I then just move my side mirrors out to cover the blind spots.. works perfectly.

those little spot mirrors would help as well, but I don't have them so I can't comment on it's effectiveness.

Yeah, before I bought I my teg I was somewhat interested in the Eclipse, the 2nd gen with the nice curves and such, I sat in the car and was like "Whoa." and got out and never sat in one again
