Is it just me or does anyone else see a fat (well, maybe "plump" is a more accurate term) Integra when they see an RSX? I mean, don't get me wrong, it's got some nice lines here and there, but both the new(er) Honda sport coupes--the 2001+ Civics and the RSX--look fatter than their previous versions. Coincidentally, they're both aimed at being more cheaply made... Hmmm...

Personally, I'm not disappointed that I can't afford an RSX. I'll take an Integra over it--it's just not doing it for me. I dunno, maybe it'll grow on me...

Okay, I wasn't here for the RSX's debut, so I had to get this out.

I agree on that one. RSXs just don't do it for me. I think Acura was trying too hard to make it look high tech and lost the look of a sports coupe. Well, that's just my opinion.

I'll take you each for a little ride at the meet, Saturday, Art and Art. You will become believers. A Teg by any other name is still a Teg.

As far as the RSX being more cheaply made, well, I have to disagree. The materials in my type s are of a much higher quality than my LS was and the attention to detail is much higher.

The interiors of RSXs are very nice, don't get me wrong. But Honda goes through phases of cutting costs on their cars--doing stuff like this "compact double wishbone suspension" which is supposed to work most of the time but doesn't handle transfers nearly as well as the old Integra suspension.

The RSX isn't too bad of a culprit--the new Civics are worse. Their suspension is a perfect example of how they took one of the best things about the car, namely its suspension which gave it a fun driving style, and swapped it out for MacPherson Struts that, according to what I've read, suck. Someone in a magazine said this: "My God, it has the same suspension as a Neon!"

Really, the RSX isn't nearly that bad, but Honda has been doing some things lately designed to make money that's a little irritating to enthusiasts. It's not just using cheaper materials but sacrificing performance for mass-market appeal--like increasing cabin space and giving the RSX its chubby look. This is also why they went for the compact suspension.

Well, that's just my opinion. It's really a great car, but I'd still take an Integra over one. I'll be interested to see how the RSX Type-R does vs. the Integra Type-R in some of the larger magazines (I doubt anyone will pit them against each other, but you can always compare their performance numbers...).

I love the interior of the RSX. I wish I could put those recaros in my teg, and the sterring wheel. The outsode does look like a fat teg though. That was one of the first things to pop into my mind. The RSX doesn't look bad though. I think it looks good, but it can't compare to the Generation 3 though.

well of course it is, you are also talking about a car which isnt made to be compared to the LS. i mean it costs like 7g more than the LS did. you cant compare it to an ls when it's interior is more like a gsr...

the newest trend for car manufacturers,(not just imports) is more interior space. especially more headroom. if you chopped the top of a type s rsx (blasphemous, I know) in the american hot-rod style, I think it'd look pretty sick.

My LS had quite a few options... and wasn't that cheap, infact my interior was much nicer than the stock GS-R

at first i thought they were ugly and that they should of kept the integra the way it was but once you get in the rsx your perspective changes. the power especially makes up for the drastic change.

i will always be for the third gen. 3 integra but i cant wait to see somebody drop a type-s engine into a 3rd gen integra, that b*tch will fly........ zoom>>>>>>>
