HOW MUCH TROUBLE WILL IT BE TO PUT THE VTEC HEAD oN MY 94 RS, AND WHAT WILL BE NEEDED? ALSO, WILL A VTEC VALVE COVER WORK oN MY FACTORY RS HEAD??

I DoNT KNOW MAYBE YOU SHOULD TAKE OF CAPS AND SEARCH THE FORUM. And im pretty sure the B18B cover wont work on youre motor, and if it did, dont. Anyone that knows the first bit about tegs or honda motors is going to know right away that its not a real vtec and laugh at you alot for pretending that you have one.

there is a thing called a vtec solenoid.. and like the br1t1shguy said, anyone that knows anything is gonna laugh at you for being a moron. As far as vtec on a rs, search this site, and on google for 'ls/vtec' Its alot of work, and from what ive heard, not reliable enough for a daily driver.. I may be wrong, but thats the reaction ive gotten from the people here on TI..

Sure it was just a type-o, but the RS/LS/GS has the B18B engine. The GSR has a B18C1 and the TypeR has a B18C5.

ls/vtec is very strong and could be reliable if you build it correctly. we have a couple of ls/vtec engines that have ran for many months without any major problems. As of the valve covers, it does not fit. You should try the search option and you should find a lot of past posts over this subject. (from what i remembered)
