Ok here is a question that ross and i have been trying figure out for a few minutes.

if you are getting new cams/retainers/valvesprings what is the importance of getting the rocker arms back in the order they came out in?

since the wear pattern on the rocker arm where the cam makes contanct would be different in the aftermarket cam vs the stock cam, would it not matter as much?


is it more of an issue of the contact points between the rocker arm and the top of the valve and where the rocker arm sits in contact with the head?
