Well I washed my car for the first time in a few weeks.. and I noticed A LOT of little chips in the paint. Like pin or pinhead size spots where the paint is gone!! maybe from small rocks? It looks like it goes to the metal in those tiny little dots..and there's a million of them
What should I do? looks like there's too many for touch up paint..like putting a dot here and there everywhere will make my pain job look crappy. But i don't want them to rust. Do i have to have the car repainted? You can't really tell untill you get up really close. But it's freaking me out :p

i think you need to repaint it. i have the same problem with my front kit. im going to repaint it soon, but i heard theres this coating you put on that protects your paint from rock chips, i just forgot what it was called. anyone know?

i think it is a 3m product. if it is the one i am thinking about. they make a clear plastic film that you can put on the front of our cars. i was going to get this for mine until i read on their site that you basicaly have to glue it on and that it is ment to be perminant but you can get it off with a heat gun. there was a thread on this a while back with the link for it. but i think it was before the big crash.

You don't have to worry about the spots rusting unless they are down to the metal - i have alot of little chips too but none are down to the metal so i am not too worried.
